The Sûreté du Québec was called to intervene following a collision in Frampton, in Chaudière-Appalaches.

A driver in his 50s is in critical condition after a collision on Route 275 in Frampton late Friday.
According to initial information from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), which was called to surrender around 5:15 p.m., the motorist who was traveling northbound, deviated from his lane then hit a vehicle coming in the opposite direction, explains spokesperson Élizabeth Marquis-Guy.
The man, who was not driving passengers, suffered life-threatening injuries.
As for the driver of the other vehicle, a man in his twenties, also alone on board, he suffered significant injuries
which however do not threaten his life.
The agents of the post of the MRC of Nouvelle-Beauce are still on site Friday evening, in order to clarify the causes and circumstances of the event which is the subject of an investigation.
Route 275 is closed in both directions.
