In the Democratic Republic of Congo, tragedy struck the community of the evangelical Compassion Church last week. As we previously announced, Blanche Tunasi, the wife of the famous pastor Marcello Tunasi has passed away. This Monday, the pastor Marcello Tunasi shared the heartbreaking circumstances of his wife’s death, Blanche Tunasi, during an operation.
THE Pastor Marcello, visibly moved, explained that Blanche had to undergo a surgical procedure considered simple. However, the operation took much longer than expected. Worried, he questioned the doctors about this unusual prolongation. They assured him that everything had gone well but that Blanche had not yet woken up. At that moment, Marcello felt a strong intuition that something was wrong. Although he clung to the hope of seeing her wake up, the hours passed with no sign of recovery.
Faced with this anguish, the pastor retired to his room to pray. It was then that he had a supernatural experience according to his confidences: the smell of Blanche’s perfume invaded the room, although she was in the operating room on the seventh level. This demonstration convinced him that Blanche had died, even though the doctors had not yet found the courage to tell him.
On his way down to the operating room, he passed the doctors, dejected and in tears. This scene implicitly confirmed his fears. Determined, Marcello entered the recovery room, where he prayed intensely for his wife’s resurrection. He described this moment as one of the most fervent of his life, going so far as to open Blanche’s eyes with his fingers in a final gesture of faith. Unfortunately, his efforts were in vain.
Despite this heartbreaking loss, Marcello did not lose his faith. He continued his prayers with the belief that God could still perform a miracle, whether in Turkey, where the operation was taking place, or back in the DRC. However, during his farewell speech, he had to accept the inevitable: Blanche, mother of their four children, would not wake up from her eternal sleep.
Pastor Marcello Tunasi concluded with deep resignation imbued with spirituality: “ It was neither a man nor the devil who killed her, but it was the Lord who took her back because she had accomplished her mission. The Lord gave, the Lord has taken away. »
