Two icons of the James Bond franchise reunite

Almost twenty years after offering one of the best films anchored in the universe of James Bond To fans of the English spy, this New Zealand director is back to impress you. We of course want to talk about Martin Campbellthe man behind the first film which will feature Daniel Craig in the shoes of 007, namely: Casino Royale. This new feature film by Martin Campbell is Dirty Angels. An action thriller set in the heart of Afghanistan in the summer of 2021, where, as American troops withdraw from the country, a team of female soldiers is tasked with rescuing a group of schoolgirls taken hostage by the Taliban. To succeed in their mission, the military must gain the trust of terrorists by making them believe that they are part of a humanitarian organization. But the task will not be so simple, and the characters’ past risks complicating things further.

A film that risks making waves given the current political climate in Afghanistanand in particular the prohibitions that Afghan women have had to face for some time, but who seem to have it in their stomach in terms of action. In the casting, we find of course Eva Greenbut also Ruby Rose (Batwoman), Maria Bakalova (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3), Rona-Lee Shimon (Black Lotus), Jonica T.
