A road accident involving a lone truck occurred on Thursday June 13, 2024, around 8 p.m. on the A11 motorway in the Angers-Nantes direction. The events occurred near the exit ramp towards Ancenis, just before the toll barrier.
The accident severely disrupting traffic, Vinci autoroute took the decision to cut off the A11 to traffic in the direction of Nantes around 8:15 p.m. The reopening did not take place until 12:22 a.m., time to evacuate the damaged heavy goods vehicle. Its driver suffered only minor injuries.
