A fire broke out in an apartment in Theil-sur-Huisne, a municipality delegated to Val-au-Perche (Orne), on the night of Tuesday 26 to Wednesday 27 November 2024. The fire was in a bedroom of this home located at 6, rue de la Taille. Firefighters were called at 1:05 a.m.
Six apartments evacuated
On site, they brought the fire under control and took care of one person. The victim was bothered by the fumes and had to be transported to the Nogent-le-Rotrou hospital center. The room was destroyed by the fire.

During the operation, six neighboring apartments had to be evacuated. Eighteen firefighters from the emergency centers of Theil-sur-Huisne, Ceton, La Ferté-Bernard and Bellême, as well as the gendarmerie and Enedis, intervened until 3:35 a.m.
