THE Basque rugbyhe will be in the spotlight this Saturday June 15, 2024 at Saint Jean de Luz at the Blue Pavilion stadium. The Euskarians are launching this meeting which they hope will be annual. The goal, show and highlight the talents of our territory.

A day dedicated to Basque rugby

This day will begin with rugby sevens with a large amateur tournament for girls and boys where they will be represented the 7 Basque provinces. The provinces of Gipuzkoa, Alava, Vizcaya, Navarre, Labourd, Basse-Navarre and Soule will compete from 10:30 a.m. during this festive day.

Rugby union will then be in the spotlight with two major matches. On the women’s side, the Hegoalde team will face the Iparralde team at 4 p.m. then the men will play an international match against the Swiss from 5:30 p.m. The event will be broadcast live all day on the Euskarians social networks as well as CBL Sports (YouTube and Facebook).

All profits from this day will be donated to the association Integrazio Batzordea. Her goal is the inclusion of children with disabilitieswithin Seaska schools.

Meeting against Switzerland

The Euskarians have been preparing for a few days in the Urrugne club structures before facing the Swiss team this Saturday, June 15 at the Stade de Saint Jean de Luz. Training open to the public will be offered at the Urrugne stadium from 6:30 p.m. this Friday, June 14, 2024 for their last training before this international meeting.
