Mercato PSG: Luis Enrique wants Dani Olmo in Paris

THE Paris Saint Germain must now face a major project, that of replacing Kylian Mbappé in his workforce. The French international has joined Real Madrid for the next five years and leaves a big void to fill in Luis Enrique’s squad.

Behind the scenes of the capital club, names follow one another without an official announcement having yet been made. If in recent weeks the Parisian transfer window has been eventful with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Victor Osimhenthe name of Dani Olmo resurfaces.

The RB Leipzig striker is very popular with his compatriot and PSG coach, Luis Enrique. Olmo made 25 appearances in all competitions for the German club during the 2023-24 season. The Spaniard scored eight goals and provided five assists.

PSG knows what to expect from Dani Olmo

Thanks to his remarkable season, the player is attracting the interest of the best European clubs this summer. According to Sports Zone, PSG, Manchester City and Bayern Munich are all monitoring Dani Olmo this summer. Every club has started collecting information on Dani Olmo, who has a €60 million release clause.

The Spain international is under contract at Leipzig until 2027, so there is no need to sell him. However, if they receive an offer they deem suitable, the Bundesliga club could allow him to leave. He could therefore join PSG where he will find Luis Enrique who was his coach in the Spanish national team.

If Olmo has an impressive competition at Euro 2024 with Spain, the list of suitors could grow. Additionally, the 26-year-old is versatile, being capable of playing as an attacking midfielder but has experience as a winger.
