The City of Repentigny received honors during the 2024 edition of the Gala des Plumes d’excellence of the Association of Municipal Communicators of Quebec (ACMQ) which was held on June 6 in the city of Lévis. The promotional campaign “Lots of exciting jobs for students”, launched in 2022 and renewed for two years, won the silver pen.
Led by the City’s Communications Department, this campaign was created with the aim of positioning the municipality as an employer of choice for the various student positions to be filled during the summer period. In fact, hundreds of young people from Repentigny1 were recruited for jobs as day camp counselors, swimming instructors, lifeguards and park rangers.
This dynamic, attractive and fun campaign, in collaboration with the Repentignan firm Kina Communication, stood out from the usual recruitment process thanks to the use of emerging platforms, a strong visual identity and a well-targeted strategy targeting young people aged 16 .

Each year, the Feathers of Excellence competition recognizes the professionalism of its members from across Quebec by rewarding the best achievements in municipal or paramunicipal communication. The City of Repentigny is not at its first feathers of excellence, which confirms the importance of communications for the municipality of Repentigny, first as a source of information for the population, but also as an engine of development for his quality of life.
