Generative AI-based applications welcome a newcomer. After AG2R La Mondiale and its Almia platform, it is the turn of Axa France to announce its latest service using GenAI technologies.
The insurer has therefore put online a conversational agent dedicated to road safety. His name: Coach Axa Prevention.
The chatbot is based on a RAG system allowing users to interact in conversational mode with a documentary database.
An AI agent for “personalized and reliable” advice
To design its Coach, Axa therefore brought together an existing database, namely 20 years of data from its Axa Prévention barometer and GenAI via RAG or Retrieval Augmented Generation.
The function of the assistant is simple: to provide “personalized and reliable” advice in the field of road safety.
“For individuals, it is about adopting daily safety reflexes, while for companies, we aim to raise awareness among teams about responsible conduct,” adds Anne-Laure Le Gallo, head of the Responsible Insurance Data program. of Axa.
Design with Illuin Technology
On LinkedIn, Raphaël Meyrou, UX and GenAI specialist for the company, specifies that the coach was originally born from a 7-week student project with the Paris Digital Lab. For its creation, Axa relied on the expertise of Illuin Technology.
The company is notably behind the creation of the CroissantLLM model, in collaboration with researchers from the MICS laboratory at CentraleSupélec. This is a small LLM. Its designers claim a sovereign, open, ethical and frugal language model.
Note that the Road Safety Coach should be the first in a series of conversational assistants serving prevention. Axa France indicates that other AI agents should soon see the light of day.
Digital health and safety assistants
Among the targeted themes for these future coaches are the climate, addictions, everyday accidents and digital technology, Anne-Laure Le Gallo lists.
“We plan to extend Coach AXA Prevention to other essential areas such as health and digital security,” Raphaël Meyrou further mentions.
The official launch of the Coach is scheduled for Sunday, November 10, but it is already open for testing.
