These two bombshells revealed in the very moving finale of season 3!

A month after discovering the first romantic part of season 3 of The Chronicle of Bridgerton, Netflix has just released the second part of the historical romance. Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton, already very good friends, formed a deep bond during the filming of this intense season full of challenges for both of them. They also appeared very close during the long promotion of the show around the world. The second part which has just been posted online has a different tone. Bittersweet and very moving, it brings a few tears to our eyes, like Shonda Rimes. Episode 5 contains a torrid sequence that will make “POLIN” fans swoon, such as the following sequences of arguments and the exchange of desire-laden glances of the two heroes caught in the turmoil of the revelation of Lady’s identity Whistledown. So many things are addressed in this finale that we remain overwhelmed with emotion after watching it. In the foreground, of course, the relationship between Colin and Penelope takes us through all the states. Their first time, in what will be their home, is a magnificent sequence. Visually, it looks like a renaissance painting. Like the carriage sequence, the mirror sequence is much simpler than a simple sex scene, it tells a whole story. The confirmation of their love, the affirmation of their mutual desire, and for Penelope to feel desirable, constitutes a key moment in their evolution as a couple but also as individuals.

The other main axis is the revelation of Lady Whistledown’s identity. Built in the form of a little thriller, and what it reveals and induces for everyone. The opportunity for several touching sequences between Penelope and Colin of course, but also among the Bridgerton siblings and that of the Featheringtons. Bad news, however, for fans of “Kantony”, Kate (Simone Ashley) and Anthony (Jonathan Bailey). The couple decides to go to India where their future child will be born. There is therefore little chance that they will be present in season 4. To console themselves, fans have however had confirmation that Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton will reprise their roles in the next chapter of Bridgerton.

Our theories on season 4 of Bridgerton after this finale: Benedict will be at the center of the next season and Francesca’s destiny will be different than that of the novel

From season 1 to 3, Benedict searched for himself both intellectually and sexually. And particularly in this season where he dares to experiment with a threesome with Lady Tilley Arnold (Hannah New) and her friend Paul. If he still aspires to his freedom, he seems to reach a moment in his life where he can consider love as a possibility, which Lady Tilley half-heartedly makes him understand. During a discussion between Éloïse and Benedict, the young woman, who is preparing to spend a year in Scotland with her recently married sister Francesca, refers to the masked ball that her mother will give at the opening of the next season. However, it is at a ball like this that in the book Benedict meets Sophie, a masked woman with whom he falls madly in love. We can thus deduce from this reference that Benedict will meet Sophie at Violet’s masked ball in the first episode of season 4, which will be centered around their love story.

For Éloïse, her departure to Scotland to keep her sister company is undoubtedly a sign that Francesca will still have an important role in season 4. Fans of Julia Quinn’s literary saga will not fail to spot through the introduction of a new character that an important change is looming in Francesca’s story. Her husband Lord Kilmartin introduces her to her cousin, Mickaela Sterling. In the book, this character is a cousin, Michael, who will fall in love with Francesca. The latter seems disturbed by this meeting, this could indicate that she could engage in a romantic relationship with Mickaela in the next season. A radical change for the character, who in the book is not lesbian. Éloïse could be her confidante in the face of the trials that await her sister while waiting in turn, in season 5, to lead the way.
