The 2024-2025 Challenger Pro League season will begin on Friday August 16 with the RFC Seraing – Jong Genk and RSCA Futures – KMSK Deinze duels. This was announced on Tuesday during the presentation of the calendar in Diegem. During the first day, the poster between Zulte Waregem and Lierse is on the program. The regional duels between RFC Liège and relegated KAS Eupen and between Francs Borains and newcomer RAAL La Louvière are also attracting attention.

Three weeks after the Jupiler Pro League, it is the turn of the Challenger Pro League to resume its rights, with numerous derbies planned this season. In Liège, there is obviously the duel between RFC Liège and RFC Seraing (day 6 and day 20). KMSK Deinze and SV Zulte Waregem are also vying for local honors. They face each other for the first time on August 25 at 4 p.m. (day 2).

The RSCA Futures – RWDM duel will animate the capital during the 8th day. Limburgers can prepare for the duels between Patro Eisden, Lommel SK and Jong Genk. However, we will have to wait until the 9th day for the first derby. And there is obviously the Wasico between SK Beveren and newcomer KSC Lokeren-Temse. The first Waesland derby will take place on the 7th day (October 4 to 6, 2024) at Freethiel.

The merged club KSC Lokeren-Temse will celebrate its return to professional football on August 17 with a trip to Club NXT. The other promoted team, the ambitious RAAL La Louvière, will open the first day on the Francs Borains field. This is also a regional duel between two Hennuyeres teams.

Regular Challenger Pro League competition will end on the weekend of April 18, 2025 after 30 days of competition. By this date at the latest, we will know the name of the champion and his first pursuer, who will be promoted to the Jupiler Pro League. The winter break lasts from Monday December 23, 2024 to Friday January 10, 2025.

The Promotion Play-offs, in which clubs ranked 3rd to 6th compete in a knockout system for the last chance at promotion, begin midweek on April 22, 2025. May 16 and 23 2025, the promotion play-offs will be against the runners-up in the Jupiler Pro League Relegation Play-offs.

For the moment, the calendar commission has been able to announce the exact times for 4 days of the championship. Only when the calendar manager knows the Belgian teams qualified for the group stages of European competitions can the match schedules be revealed until the winter break.

The Pro League will once again limit the number of calendar changes to a minimum and provide 3 calendar moments. The Sunday evening (9:00 p.m.) and Monday evening slots are still canceled.

When will we reveal the next match schedules?
