Police appeal for witnesses after fatal accident yesterday morning on the A6 motorway

The CRS Autoroute Sud Île-de-France is seeking to shed light on the exact circumstances of the tragedy which cost the life of an 18-year-old young man. Around 9 a.m. Wednesday morning, a van violently collided with the back of an empty tanker truck which was traveling towards the province.

The collision occurred near Evry-Courcouronnes, just before the exit towards the N104 and the A5 motorway. The impact was fatal to the passenger of the utility vehicle and its 60-year-old driver was airlifted in serious condition to Créteil hospital.
