The twinning committee is being set up between the towns of Couiza, Arques and Joyeuse in Ardèche.

The 5 cyclists club

The adventure began in 1995, when Yvan Serret after a hike called “Ducs de Joyeuse” in the Luberon was reported on the FFCT magazine. Curious, Pierre Fargier, the president of the Joyeuse cycling club, decided to contact the Couiza club after discovering that the two towns were united by the marriage of distant ancestors. The attempt to twinning the two towns failed, it was the two cycling clubs which twinning in 1997. But the dynamic sporting twinning still continues every year between 5 cycling clubs: Couiza, Joyeuse, Villelaure Cadenet, Maëlla and .

This Wednesday, November 6, the committee defined the line to follow and reported to Wednesday November 20 at 6 p.m. (in the green room) the next meeting with a call for the mobilization of the populations.

On the agenda, the definition and scope of the actions to be carried out as part of the twinning and election of the first directorate.
