A gas leak linked to work carried out on public roads paralyzed the center of the town of May-sur-Èvre on Thursday November 7 in the middle of the afternoon. Traffic was disrupted while emergency services intervened.

1 hour 30 minutes of confinement

The 230 students of a primary school near the source of the leak were confined in their classes for nearly 1 hour 30 minutes. GRDF services cut off the gas supply in the area. Sixteen firefighters from also intervened. No one was injured.
