After a first stopover in Marseille last May, it is in Hong Kong that Chanel has decided to deploy the second presentation of its 2024/2025 cruise collection, this Tuesday, November 5. The French fashion house had, for the occasion, organized not one, but two fashion shows during the day. A line designed by the artistic director, Virginie Viard, before her departure, which “combines underwater reverie and reflections of the sun through embroidery, diving hoods, sequined jackets and swimsuits”, according to the luxury brand. Just once, a plethora of celebrities made the trip to the Pearl of the Orient.
Several Chanel ambassadors were present to (re)discover this cruise line with marine accents which bears its name so aptly, including Penelope Cruz, Whitney Peak, K-pop star G-Dragon and Angèle, alongside major personalities, French like Caroline de Maigret, and local, like the actors Chow Yun-Fat and Fala Chen. After a glamorous appearance in a bustier and visible lingerie at the last Chanel show during Paris Fashion Week, Angèle made the trip again, this time to a city she was discovering for the first time. The Belgian singer also took advantage of her stay to improvise a photo shoot in the street, proudly showing the front page of Elle Hong Kong of which she is the covergirl.
