A mobility plan redesigned after the hiccups of 2023

In 2023, the festival had significantly increased its capacity to accommodate more than 70,000 spectators. Sold out for months due to the arrival of Indonchina, Friday proved very complicated in terms of mobility. Some people took more than 4 hours to travel around thirty kilometers. Other festival-goers were stuck until 4 a.m. in muddy parking lots and were towed by farmers.

For this 12th edition, the organizers have completely revised the mobility plan. Campers are invited to join the site on Thursday to “reduce the number of cars on the roads the next day”. Soft and shared mobility is encouraged with relief parking lots near cycle paths which will be “lit and secure”. As a thank you, cyclists will receive a collector’s t-shirt “Ronquières by bike is cool”.

Free shuttles will be increased and five lines will be set up from several large cities.

Parking for 10€

Finally, paid parking lots with limited spaces will be available a few meters from the festival entrances (between 200 and 800 meters). The price: 10€ per day, 20€ for a 3-day pass.

Three traffic flows will also be created so that motorists do not all take the same path. A green, yellow or red path will then lead them to their destination depending on the choices made when purchasing tickets. Park and bike and kiss and drive parking lots will also be set up.
