During the night of Wednesday November 6 to Thursday November 7, a fire broke out on a farm in the town of Baigneux-les-Juifs in Côte-d’Or. Although no casualties were reported, 1,000 m² of fodder went up in smoke.

The intervention began around 2:50 a.m., in the town of Baigneux-les-Juifs, in the north of the Côte-d’Or. It is the Corvée farm which is affected, and the intervention is still in progress.

An agricultural shed caught fire. In total, a 1,000 m² building, completely filled with fodder, went up in smoke. The fire then spread to another agricultural building used for manufacturing rapeseed oil. In total, three buildings had to be protected from the flames by the firefighters present on site.

The Côte-d’Or departmental fire and rescue service (SDIS 21) does not report any casualties. 31 firefighters are involved in the intervention. There are also several vehicles, four fire engines, an aerial means, a water supply engine.

An ambulance providing health support for fire brigade personnel is on site, as well as four command vehicles from the municipalities of Aisey-sur-Seine, Montbard, Semur-en-Auxois, Venarey-les-Laumes, Saint-Seine -the Abbey and .
