Since Thursday November 7, 2024, Évelyne Brossard has been stopping off in Parthenay with her food truck La Popote d'Évelyne. After a trial run next to the kiosk on Place du Drapeau, we will find it every Thursday (11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.) in front of the halls. “I value the fruits and vegetables produced by my partner, market gardener and arborist since 2017, at the Barlière farm in Secondigny, everything is in organic farming”smiles Évelyne Brossard, who previously worked in the social sector and who has been directing since the summer of 2024 “an old dream” with this food truck.
Of the “simple products” for gourmet recipes: potato waffle, leek fondue, Fourme d'Ambert sauce and raw vegetables adorned the first plates. “My objective is to limit the production of waste, I serve customers on plates and they can sit on standing tables or otherwise they can come with their own box”concludes Évelyne Brossard, who is moving forward in parallel on her agricultural installation project in Secondigny.
