Who is he?

Born in January 1994, he must be tried for the assassination of one person and the murder of two people by an organized gang, all in connection with a terrorist enterprise. Othman Garrido grew up in the popular La Paillade neighborhood in . In 2012 he left to wage jihad in Syria, where he called himself “Abu Salman al Faransi”. Accusations

The investigation is based in particular on a telephone considered to be that of his wife on site. Recovered in Baghouz, Syria, and handed over by the Americans, it revealed 78 photos of Othman Garrido.

Among the photos, a photograph where a man holds a decapitated head. For the prosecution, it is Othman Garrido. He contests. The National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor's Office (Pnat) and the investigating magistrates considered that the jihadist would also appear at the front of a crowd during a scene of double beheading: he is therefore accused of having participated in a joint action leading to the double murder .
