Annecy, in Haute-Savoie, recently experienced a series of worrying disappearances: three in a few days. They had nothing in common but twice ended tragically, with the discovery of the lifeless bodies of the wanted people. This will not be the case for the third: he is in great shape and came from Switzerland.
The man, 52, disappeared on October 23. He had left his home in Annecy, where he lives with his parents, for a medical appointment. Then there was no further sign of life.
His relatives were obviously worried and the Annecy gendarmerie launched a call for witnesses ten days ago, on October 25. But it was lifted this Wednesday.
This fifty-year-old had in fact obviously voluntarily vanished into thin air. “The healthy man was in Switzerland, guided by a personal and voluntary choice,” reports “Le Dauphiné”.
According to information from the French daily, he learned of the existence of a call for witnesses concerning him and he decided to give news to his loved ones yesterday, Tuesday, to reassure them.
But why this disappearance? Want a new life? Just a whim? The answer no longer concerns the general public, but the police would still like to hear it.
