► Hezbollah fires missiles at an Israeli military base
Lebanese Hezbollah said it fired missiles on Wednesday, November 6, at an Israeli military base located near Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv, the first announcement of this type since it entered into open war with Israel at the end of September.
In a statement, the pro-Iranian Islamist movement said it had targeted the military base of “Tzrifin”located “near Ben Gurion Airport, south of Tel Aviv”in central Israel, with a salvo of missiles.

Hamas, at war with Israel in the Gaza Strip, has said it will judge new US President Donald Trump based on his policies towards the Palestinians.
“Our position vis-à-vis the new American administration will depend on its positions and its behavior in practice towards the Palestinian people, their legitimate rights and their just cause”said the Palestinian Islamist movement in a statement.
A Hamas official claimed that the “blind support” from the United States to Israel was to “to end”after more than a year of war between the Israeli army and the Palestinian Islamist movement in the Gaza Strip.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog congratulated Donald Trump, wishing “strengthen the bond beyond any test” between Israel and the United States. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also hailed his victory, adding that his “Historic return to the White House offers a new beginning for America and a powerful recommitment to the great alliance between Israel and America”.
Outgoing Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz, for his part, affirmed that Israel and the United States will remain “farms” against Iran, their common enemy.

Egypt, linked to a peace treaty with Israel, joined Turkey’s call on Tuesday evening, supported by 52 countries, urging the UN to stop arms deliveries to that country, citing concerns about their use against Palestinians.
A statement from the Egyptian Foreign Ministry released Tuesday evening said the inclusion of Cairo in the appeal was part of the “international efforts to pressure Israel to cease its continued violations of international law and international humanitarian law”. It also aims to put an end to “Israeli violations” against the Palestinian people and to protect civilians, the statement said.

The United States hailed Yoav Gallant calling him “important partner”.
