A fire broke out in a residential garage on Saint-Lambert Street in the Brompton sector, in Sherbrooke. Firefighters went to the scene late Saturday afternoon.

The flames appeared while occupants of the garage were carrying out mechanical work. By the end of the day, the blaze was under control.

According to a City of Sherbrooke official, material damage was noted at three adjoining residences.
