Peugeot announces the return of the Style finish on the 208, 2008 and 308 (sedan and station wagon) with reductions in the entry ticket which can amount to €2,000 for electric models.

Peugeot has decided to react, probably in the face of increasing competitive pressure in key segments: B and C. For the moment, the lion is obviously not touching the 3008 and 5008 which will also receive additional staff in the factory to produce enough SUVs to keep up with demand. But the slightly more compact models will be entitled to the return of the Style finish at the entry level, which allows the first price to be lowered by up to €2,000 in the case of the electric 208. Above all, this allows Peugeot to list an e-208 at just €30,000 taking into account the current bonus of €4,000. Which should not last since the debates should be held this week on the details of the future 2025 bonus, probably planed and restricted to certain audiences.

A cheaper third finish

Style is therefore inserted under the Allure finish in a range that has until now been very simple and rather understandable. Let's salute Peugeot for keeping things simple when other general manufacturers choose to multiply finishes, packs and options, thus losing customers.

The arrival of Style, which is also synonymous with the approach of the end of career for the current 208 and 2008, therefore allows prices to fall by cutting back on certain equipment. However, the allocation remains entirely acceptable. On 208 Style, we find the following elements as standard:

  • rear parking assist
  • air conditioning
  • electric front and rear windows
  • electric and heated exterior mirrors
  • multimedia system with 10'' central touch screen, DAB radio, Bluetooth, wireless Mirror Screen Apple CarPlay/Android Auto
  • automatic air conditioning
  • central armrest

A strictly similar range on the 2008 Style. The 308 and 308 SW Style are also entitled to electrically folding mirrors. All engines are available on the Style finish, from the small 100 hp Puretech to the 156 hp electric. Only the electric 208 equipped with the most recent electric group is not offered on this access finish.
