A fire broke out during the night of Monday to Tuesday November 5 in a supermarket located in Labastide-Saint-Pierre south of , in Tarn-et-Garonne. The alert was given shortly before 5 a.m. Despite the rapid intervention of firefighters to extinguish the flames, a lot of smoke was released and the damage was significant.

The twenty employees employed in this Super U will not be able to return to work this Tuesday morning. It seems that the electrical system of a refrigerator was the trigger of the disaster. 18 firefighters from Montauban and Corbarrieu intervened to put an end to it.
