A breathtaking finale to the theater course! This Friday, November 1, the public was won over by the restitution of the theater course, organized by Éclats Vacance Nature, as part of a call for projects financed by the Department, the ARS and the Conference of Funders.

Over five intense days, nine trainees, of all ages (the youngest is 11 years old), created their magnificent play from scratch, under the inspiring direction of Laurette Tessier and Nicolas Candoni from the Vous sont Ici – Un association. Festival in Villeréal.

Express yourself freely

The interns spoke about their experience, expressing unanimous joy: working with Laurette and Nicolas, in an atmosphere of sharing and creativity, allowed them to surpass themselves. They were able to express themselves freely, write their roles and invent their characters. Everyone was amazed by the result, a challenge easily overcome for novices, with the exception of Thomas and Titiana, who already had experience.

Maxime and Titiana highlight a significant and valuable experience: everyone found their place, everyone was able to express themselves fully, a balance made possible thanks to their caring support.

A collective creation, from improvisation to the stage: Without text or characters at the start, Laurette and Nicolas arrived in Rives with only a few accessories. The group imagined and built from start to finish a play, titled Who Killed Dalida?, set on the night of December 31. The story began in front of the church, then on a bench in the parking lot, and ended in style in the village hall, where the public, who came in large numbers, followed each movement with enthusiasm.

The trainees showed great concentration and, in a fluid and light game, were able to entertain, surprise and above all, have fun, thus achieving the primary objective. As a bonus, the audience was even invited to dance during the finale, to a shower of warm, well-deserved applause!

Colorful characters: The play brought together characters as unusual as they were endearing: Marie played both the mysterious white lady and the haunting spirit, Jean-Marie played Michel Drucker, Maxime surprised as a homeless woman, Thomas camped a broken down young person, Titiana played Madeleine, while Nina and Mattie paired up as young rebels and Michelle, alias Mimi, became Séraphine.

Well-deserved congratulations: Pierre Henri-Arnstram, president of the Vous sont Ici association, took the floor to warmly congratulate all the participants and thank the artistic directors, Nicolas and Laurette. Fanny, head of the Éclats Vacances Nature structure, also praised the commitment of the speakers and the presence of the public. As a wink, a special page of La Dépêche was distributed at the start of the show, retracing the events of December 31, 1999, immersing everyone in the atmosphere of this unique evening.

Congratulations to the actors and the team for this theatrical feat!
