It's official. Monday November 4, 2024, the real estate company Caso Patrimoine confirmed that it had purchased the building formerly occupied by Flunchlocated on Allée Jean-Jaurès. As Toulouse News announced it to you in May 2024.
Caso Patrimoine formalizes the acquisition
“Our real estate company is proud to formalize the acquisition of the building located at 28 allées Jean Jaurès which housed the former Flunch restaurant. After a journey punctuated with challenges and 8 months of waiting after receiving our tenderwe are delighted to give new impetus to this flagship place in the city, five years after its closure. This ambitious project, of almost 3000 m²will soon welcome offices and businesses, thus contributing to the dynamism of our dear pink city”, welcomes Caso Patrimoine this Monday.
Demolition-reconstruction
As we explained to you a few months ago, Caso Patrimoine decided to relaunch the building demolition-reconstruction project which was initiated by some of the owners at the time after the closure of Flunch.
To do this, the company of sisters Caroline and Sophie Monné requested the resumption of the building permit which had been issued by the town hall of Toulouse on January 13, 2021.
The project that will see the light of day therefore takes up in broad terms what was imagined in 2018 by one of the members of the SCI of the former owners.
Four-story building
The first transformation that will jump out at you is the height of the future building. At 28 bis des allées, it is no longer a one-story building, but a seven-story building and four floors that should be found.
To get there, the entire current building will be demolished, except for the facade of the old Flunch.
Large bay windows
The raised building will change the landscape at the bottom of the Jean-Jaurès alleys. The ground floor of the building will be preserved, but it will be largely modernized with real openings opening onto the aisles.
The upper part should have large bay windows on two floors. The last level will be a terrace which will align with the height of the neighboring buildings.
Commercial brands
Commercial brands should integrate the ground floor. From the first floor to the last level, catering spaces and offices are planned.
On the Allée Jean-Jaurès in Toulouse, the building has sounded hollow since the Flunch brand lowered the curtain at the end of 2018. The building was put up for sale in the fall of 2023.
