Shrinkage-swelling of clays: AccesBTP buys the Sol Structure group
AccesBTP, a French player specializing in the injection of expansive resin for the consolidation of buildings cracked by clay shrinkage-swelling (RGA), has acquired the Sol Structure group, with the support of Crédit Mutuel Equity. The merger of these two companies gives birth to the AccesSOL group.

The merger of the two groups, possible thanks to the support of Crédit Mutuel Equity which becomes a minority shareholder, allows the emergence of a leading specialist in underpinning recovery: the AccesSOL group. With nearly 350 employees and a turnover exceeding 80 million euros in 2024, AccesSOL has become a major player mastering all soil consolidation technologies. It now covers the entire national territory with its historical skills (design office, resin injection, installation of micropiles, work for all trades) for a global, turnkey offer for disaster victims.

Created in 2018, the AccesBTP group specializes in the injection of expansive resin, an innovative technology used to consolidate buildings sagging or cracked by the clay shrinkage-swelling (RGA) phenomenon. The group operates throughout and carries out structural studies and underpinning and rehabilitation work for all trades with individuals, insurers and construction industry players. The Sol Structure group, created in 2007, is one of the main players in France in the installation of micropiles, resin injection and geotechnical studies.

Worsened by global warming and episodes of drought, the phenomenon of clay shrinkage-swelling (RGA) now threatens 1 in 2 houses in France. According to the I4CE institute, claims linked to RGA cost nearly 2.9 billion euros for the year 2022 alone and would amount to 2.1 billion euros per year by 2050. This social phenomenon remains largely unknown to the general public, while the majority of French real estate is not adapted to deal with it.
