The prosecution requested the indictment of the first suspect for murder by a person while drunk and driving without a license, and for complicity in aggravated murder for the second.

The public prosecutor’s office announced on Sunday, November 3, that it would bring two suspects before the investigating judge as part of the judicial investigation opened after the death on Friday of a 21-year-old young man who was stabbed as he left the a nightclub in Bernolsheim (Bas-Rhin).

The two suspects are aged 18 and 20, and from Strasbourg. On the facts leading to the victim’s death, the prosecution referred to a “single scene of violence”.

He requested the indictment of the first for murder by a person while intoxicated and driving without a license, and for complicity in aggravated murder for the second. The first suspect turned himself in to the authorities, the second was arrested.

The victim stabbed in the chest

On Friday, the Bas-Rhin firefighters intervened shortly before 5 a.m. in the parking lot of the Mille Club nightclub in Bernolsheim, to rescue a man suffering from a “stab wound to the chest”. The man died on the spot.

The nightclub had organized a special party for the celebration of Halloween. In a press release, the managers of the establishment sent their “most sincere thoughts” to the victim’s family.

On social networks, users described scenes of violence or aggression in a crowded nightclub, making movement within the establishment complicated.

The investigation is entrusted to the research brigade. An autopsy is to be performed on Monday.
