The 1st Motors Day organized by l’Isle Foires et Marchés on Saturday June 1st on the town square was a great success. More than 50 cars were installed on the square, ranging from Dyane to Ferrari or racing car. All equally elegant and well-built, you could feel the owners’ love for their car, they were very proud to display them and provide information about their car. For this several clubs were present: Fabas “Les vieux pistons”, Gimont, Saint-Girons, Alpha Roméo de Toulouse and the American car club. A great choice for enthusiasts.
Without forgetting 20 motorcycles which were very noticed by enthusiasts.
In the afternoon, a few people, for a small fee, were able to take a ride in the car they dreamed of but had an unattainable dream… They had fun and dreamed a little. 15 cars with passengers went to Espaon and back to the great joy of the lucky ones. Around 4 p.m. it was the shooting on the Dyane, only two competitors: Jacyane (and yes a lady) who did very well and was greatly encouraged and Sébastien who also did well. There were no other amateurs. All day long, the LFM team held the catering section, sandwich with sausage or grilled belly, ice cream and of course the drinks.
The entire team was mobilized to serve the large number of customers who could eat in the hall or on the square. The entire LFM team organized this 1st Engines Day which was a great success, to be repeated at the request of the exhibitors who showed up.
