The Dutchman, who started from 17th position after a failed qualification this morning, found the keys to finish in first position in the race. He knew how to deal with the racing decisions which trapped other drivers like the pole sitter, Lando Norris (6th).
The Red Bull driver, who was struggling in recent weekends, returns to the championship race with his 25 points pocketed in Brazil, he is 62 points behind his runner-up from McLaren, Lando Norris. There are only three Grand Prix left this 2024 season. Max Verstappen could be crowned World Champion at the end of the Grand Prix in Las Vegas, if he finishes the race ahead of Lando Norris.
