During a press conference this Friday, November 22, the Grenoble prosecutor, Eric Vaillant, confirmed the arrest of the suspect, Abdoul Diallo, yesterday around 5 p.m. (Portugal time), in the town of Póvoa de Lanhoso, north of Porto, the capital.
He then insisted on the important work carried out in France by the police of Isère and Rhône, which made it possible to know where the suspect was in Portugal.
“More than forty investigators“from the Organized and Specialized Crime Division of Isère, specialized investigators from the DCOS of Lyon and police officers from the national directorate of the judicial police, worked at the “stalking” of the suspect.

He will not be questioned about the facts before his transfer to France. “It should be handed over to this magistrate in the coming weeks” explained the prosecutor. The prosecutor concluded by asserting thatInvestigations continued into possible accomplices who helped Abdoul Diallo in his escape. So far, no arrests have been made.
