What happened to this woman found stabbed at her home in Ruffey-lès-Echirey? As a reminder, the 49-year-old victim succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday at Dijon University Hospital.

According to the prosecutor, relayed by Bien Public, the victim presented “several wounds”, signs of several stab wounds. For the moment, according to several consistent sources, the weapon used has still not been found.

The suicide theory has not been officially refuted by investigators. But without an identified weapon and in circumstances that remain unclear, the most plausible avenue seems to be homicide.

In the house, several sources speak of an intact dwelling, without apparent traces of struggle, damage, looting or even break-in. No traces of blood were identified in the house, except in the bathroom, where the victim was discovered. The entire lower part of the house was clean, as if nothing had happened.”confirms Nadine Mutin, the mayor of Ruffey-lès-Echirey.

The body was found in the bathtub by the victim's daughter-in-law who called the police.

Questioned this Saturday, the public prosecutor indicated that he did not wish to communicate at this stage.
