A big blue wave for the 18th Gaspésie Day

Gaspésie pride is felt in this 18e Gaspésie Day-Gaspesian Day-Gespe’gewa’gi Na’gweg. Many Gaspésians by birth, heart or adoption wore blue clothing to mark the event and show their sense of belonging.

As in 2023, the Living in Gaspésie Strategy team invited numerous partners to make June 6 a special day.

To mark the event, the population is invited to dress in blue and share photos on social networks with the keyword #Vivreengaspésie so that the organization brings them together in a large virtual photo album.

Gaspé pride was even felt in the National Assembly in Quebec.

Many MPs from the parliamentary wing of the Coalition Avenir Québec responded to the call launched by the minister responsible for the Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine region, Maïté Blanchette Vézina, and by the MP for Bonaventure, Catherine Blouin, and by the deputy for Gaspé, Stéphane Sainte-Croix, by wearing blue clothes.
