The Elden Ring DLC is just around the corner, but rest assured, you won’t suffer as much as expected, it’s not as big as expected. We’re not going to complain!

The next Elden Ring DLC promises colossal content. We are being told of new explorable regions, bosses, a hundred weapons, armor and skills galore… Very clearly, FromSoftware has not gone in with the back of the spoon and that promises very, very heavy stuff. In any case, our comrade Suttercane came out of his preview with a smile and quite a few bruises.

The Elden Ring DLC won’t be as big as expected, so much the better!

Despite everything, the Shadow of the World Tree DLC is not that huge. We have just had confirmation that the game will weigh less than 20 GB on console. It would rather be around 16-17 GB. It’s little compared to what it promises. Especially if we compare it to other DLC like Destiny 2’s Final Form for example which required several dozen gigabytes alone. Not to mention major updates to games like Call of Duty which, for a few multi maps, force us to download several dozen gigabytes as well.

The Elden Ring DLC therefore serves as a good student and that’s good! Players with modest connections will be able to quickly benefit from it like this. This is all the more true as it will be available in pre-download from June 19 before definitive release on the 21 June. Still a few days to wait, but we’re getting there!
