American elections: Fake video of immigrants voting several times in Georgia, Russia, suspected, denies being behind it

The video that has gone viral in recent days shows a man, presenting himself as a Haitian immigrant, who claims to have been able to vote several times.

Russia denied this Saturday, November 2, that it was at the origin of false videos linked to the American elections, after the American intelligence services accused it of being responsible for a false video showing an immigrant claiming to have voted several times in Georgia. The video has gone viral since Thursday. This action of disinformation is worrying at the highest level.

“We have taken note of the statement by the American intelligence services accusing our country of disseminating fabricated videos of electoral violations in the United States. We consider these allegations to be unfounded”the Russian Embassy in the United States said in a statement published on Telegram.

Suspicions aimed at “Russian troll farms”as indicated by Georgia elections official Brad Raffensperger were confirmed by the Federal Police (FBI), the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) in a joint press release this Friday, reports TF1. “This activity by Russia is part of a broader effort by Moscow to raise unfounded questions about the integrity of the U.S. election and fuel divisions among Americans.”affirm these federal agencies.

The video showed a man in a car saying in a monotone voice: “We are from Haiti. We arrived in America six months ago, and we already have American citizenship – we are voting for Kamala Harris” and he claims to have voted several times as friends in him. Checks have been made. “We checked the voter rolls. There is no match. The IDs are fake and there is no way the people in the video voted in Georgia using those IDs.”explained to AFP Mike Hassinger, spokesperson for the state authorities.
