Saturday October 26, 2024, the town organized a small, friendly ceremony in the town hall of Saint-Maurice-Sur-Moselle to congratulate, discuss and honor Charline Bealle, finalist and winner of the national competition “One of the best apprentices of France”.
Originally from Saint-Maurice-Sur-Moselle and aged only 16, Charline obtained her CAP Hairdressing degree with good honors at the CFA “Pôle des Métiers” in Épinal in June 2024 after completing her work-study apprenticeship at the Salon Intercoiff in Le Thillot.
The “One of the Best Apprentis in France” competition was created in 1985 at the initiative of Paul Labourier, MOF teacher from Morbihan, initially at the departmental level, then regional and finally national since 2001.
Initially, Charline brilliantly won the departmental and regional events, thus qualifying for the national competition which took place last June in the city of Lyon.
Motivated, persevering and very determined, Charline “managed” on her own, like a grown-up without being coached by a MOF (Meilleur Ouvrier de France) during the national competition.
The tests were split into 2:
– Test 1: Artistic shaping on a head,
– Test 2: Creation of a bun and a men's cut on a model with the theme “gala evening”.
The jury was made up of hairdressing professionals, hairdressing teachers and MOFs
Today, Charline Bealle continues her studies in hairdressing through an additional mention in Nancy and would like to continue towards a Master's Degree in the same sector.
To improve her skills, Charline works as a Hairdresser in Remiremont while continuing her school career and she is looking for a couple to practice for her next diploma.
