As the second act of Equipondi begins, Normand Laurent Goffinet caused a sensation this Friday by placing these three horses in the top 10 of the 1.40 m pro Grand Prix, which makes him one of the favorites this week -end for the thirtieth anniversary of the Pontivy equestrian event.
With more than a second ahead in the jump-off, in the saddle on Gary de Brekka, Goffinet left no chance to the other competitors on the track. Already fast during qualifying, he quickly took control of the event to finally win. A victory acquired in front of the Ile-de-France resident Guillaume Batillat.
Jarry in the mix, Monteuuis first Breton
Third with Danonzo, and sixth with El Gaura, Félix Jarry did not miss his entry onto the Morbihan track. A great performance, just like that achieved by the young Titouan Monteuuis, first classified Breton and who took fifth place in the saddle on Django du Roumois. Before the Grand Prix final on Sunday, the professional riders will return to the track this Saturday in the 1.40m speed event.
Note at the start of the afternoon, the victory of Mathieu Laveau in the 1.30 m event, that of Emma Le Guen in the only amateur event of the day, a speed 1.15 m. Bernard Briand Chevalier, for his part, opened the morning by offering himself the 1.25m speed.
