“It could be an enjoyable match”

DFCO coach Baptiste Ridira spoke before the reception of FC this Friday, November 1 as part of the 11th day of National.

« Rouen is a playful team due to the DNA of its coach and their inspirations, and the profile of the players. They have ball player profiles who are rather dynamic in their mobility between the lines. They are players who like to possess and play with the ball. Personally, I think it's a philosophy that can suit us, not only focusing on the athletic aspect and in a match based solely on duels. It can be an enjoyable match, at least for the spectators, in the possession of both teams and in the content.

I tend to take stock in December. I don't have the feeling that we need to draw conclusions yet because we have never been in the configuration that we have started to be in for two matches: being with the whole group, with all the forces in presence, with the possibility of making strong choices or real choices in relation to the workforce. For me, we are starting a new cycle until December. What I remember from the first cycle is the game project that we managed to put in place in terms of operation, understanding, and quality of content. What we have seen in recent matches bears witness to this. And also in terms of state of mind. I find that we have a team that represents what we were looking for with the new management: a club with values, with a kind of dedication to the entity. We find this on the ground. So yes, we are not doing everything well and we have lost matches, but these two pillars are solid bases which will allow us to go a little further in this second cycle until the end of December and when I talk about cycle I put both the championship and the cup in it because there is a real stake in being able to continue in both competitions until December 21.«
