The Edmonton Oilers achieved quite a feat on Sunday by managing to slow down the Dallas Stars and winning by a score of 2 to 1 despite being dominated 35-10 in shots on goal.

This victory also gave the Oilers a pass for the Stanley Cup final.

We will understand that the players of the team were in the mood to celebrate after the meeting and the captain Connor McDavid took great care to ensure that no one lacked alcoholic beverages.

In a video currently making the rounds on the web, we can see McDavid leaving a liquor store and filling the back trunk of his car with beers, he who, accompanied by his partner, was visibly heading off into a festive evening.

He, who has never been comfortable with selfies and accidental encounters with supporters, seemed particularly uncomfortable by the insistence of these few fans who did not hesitate to film him and enter his bubble.

So it was without fanfare that he rushed to get into his car to leave for the drunken evening that awaited him.

After all, the Oilers players have the whole week to rest, as they only begin the Stanley Cup final next Saturday.
