Marriage and family
According to information from “People” magazine, Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter met in 2009, on the set of the film “Burlesque Fairytales”. Their romantic relationship did not begin immediately, however, and it was not until 2014 that the couple made one of their first public appearances, during the Roland-Garros tournament. A few months later, they announced their engagement before getting married in February 2015. That same year, they welcomed their first child together. A joy for this discreet couple.

Less famous than her husband, Sophie Hunter also flourishes in the seventh art. Originally from the United Kingdom, she started as an actress then became director and director of theater and opera over the years.
