During the general assembly of the People’s Day, Liliane Domergue, president of the French Federation of medalists of youth, sports and associative commitment of Lozère (FFMJSEA), presented the 2023 women’s trophy to Isabelle Ferrier, for the Mende sector. She was distinguished for all the work she does in the shadows throughout the year, supporting the president, Hervé Ferrier, her husband.
A lottery organized at Mende beach
Every year, the People’s Day brings together many guests at the Saint-Jean hall, for an evening focusing on the habits and customs of foreign people living in Lozère. “The assembly then took stock of the last People’s Day which welcomed 650 guests representing forty nationalities who were able to taste the meal offered by us and prepared by the Caterer of your desires, all this in a spirit of sharing, conviviality and good humor”summarized Hervé Ferrier, the president of the association.
After the various assessments, the emphasis was placed on preparing for the lottery on June 30, which will take place at Mende beach. Nice prizes have already been collected by the volunteers and the association hopes to experience the same success as for the meal.
