The last day of R1, Calais in the playoffs, Hazebrouck saved

R1, the first division of regional football, delivered its verdict this Sunday.

The last day of the season was played this afternoon. Calais won 1-0 at Gravelines. A victory far from being symbolic, it allows the Racing Club de Calais to finish first in its group and to be able to play until the end of the climb, we will come back to that.

In the race to maintain, Hazebrouck scared himself until the end. Defeat of SCH in Tourcoing 4-1. Avion’s 2-0 defeat at Béthune nevertheless allowed the Flemings to escape. The Hazebrouckois will still be in R1 next season.

Regarding the rise to N3, a consequence of the reform of the Championships in France, out of the three groups of R1, there will only be one rise. The first three in each group, Arras in group A, Béthune in group B, Calais in group C, will face each other in a mini-championship, a match between each with a home meeting per team. The winner of this jump-off will move up to N3.
