For two evenings, June 14 and 15, around twenty groups, young talents and established values, will resonate in the Parc de la Bourroche in Saint-Prouant in the Vendée countryside. Among the artists expected on Friday evening, the groups Merzhin, Deluxe, La Pegatina and La P’tite Fumée are renowned for igniting the crowds. Headlining on Saturday, the unclassifiable Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine and the iconic group FFF, led by Marco Prince and Yarol Poupaud. “Receiving artists of this caliber proves that our festival has succeeded in building its reputation and becoming credible with production houses,” rejoices Mélody Barradeau.
This 2024 vintage will also be an opportunity to highlight the regional rock scene with the Nantes artists Dïe Morg, Dawn Dealers and Parpaing Papier, as well as the Vendée groups Dynamite Shakers, Ath and Offensive, who will heat up the amps with their rock ” hardcore”. “All those who were unable to get their ticket to the Hellfest will be able to console themselves by coming to us to listen to groups whose musical universe is close to that of the Clisson festival”, concludes the president of Les Feux de l’été.
This year, the festival site will be redeveloped to increase its capacity and accommodate up to seven thousand spectators each evening.
