The public prosecutor at the Court of First Instance of Tunis issued this Monday, October 28, 2024, arrest warrants against five “content creators” and “Instagram influencers”. These influencers and Instagrammers will be brought before the criminal chamber to be tried for accusations of “public outrage of modesty and harassment of others via social networks, as well as other accusations of a moral nature, reports Mosaïque Fm citing sources close to the investigation.
The public prosecutor had previously ordered agents of the central brigade of the National Guard of El Aouina to present five content creators, including some well-known personalities on social networks. After examining the minutes of the investigation, the public prosecutor decided on Monday to issue committal warrants against them pending their trial on the charges against them.
It should be recalled that the Ministry of Justice published a press release yesterday, Sunday, announcing the opening of legal investigations against several content creators for moral offenses affecting the moral values of society.
