Evacuated by emergency services, a woman aged around sixty died from her injuries.
A dramatic fire broke out on Tuesday, October 23 around 8 a.m., in a mobile home at the “La Bergerie” campsite, located on the Hauts du Camp road, in Le Castellet, in the West Var. According to initial findings, a cigarette was the cause of the fire.
A CIGARETTE?
Quickly alerted, firefighters intervened to control the fire and evacuate a woman in her sixties, trapped inside the mobile home. Despite the efforts made by the medical and paramedical team on site, the victim was unfortunately pronounced dead.
The gendarmes, present on the scene, opened an investigation to determine the precise circumstances of this fire.
