The first time was on June 4, 2022. For the third year in a row, the Pride March is coming to the streets of Périgueux this Saturday, May 25, 2024 to celebrate the rights of LGBTQIA+ people. From 10 a.m., the associations of the “Fièr.es Ensemble Dordogne collective” organize events throughout the day until 2 a.m.

The program

  • From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.: installation of the Pride Village on the Badinter esplanade, opposite the Théâtre de l’Odyssée, with association stands, artists, entertainment and food trucks.
  • 2 p.m.: departure of the Walk from the Badinter esplanade. On the decks, the Collectif l’Enfant Sauvage acts as DJ.
  • 4:30 p.m.: drag show with Vanus, named 2024 godmother of the Pride March, and guest drag queens in the Pride Village.
  • 5:30 p.m.: DJ Set + Performances with the Collectif l’Enfant Sauvage in the Pride Village
  • 7 p.m. – 2 a.m.: After “Dancing & Prancing” haswith Glitter Concrete Block at the “Le Rive” bar in Périgueux.

The first year, at least 350 people participated in the demonstration. In 2023, there were more than 650 of them. 2024 will be the opportunity “to break a new record”, hopes the collective on its Facebook page.
