Saturday October 19, during the second bonus of Star Academy 2024 on TF1, viewers noted some inconsistencies even though the event was broadcast almost live. Tele-Leisure explains to you what happened.
Saturday evening, it was a party on TF1. The channel broadcast the second bonus of the 2024 class of Star Academyin the presence of 15 students, teachers, director Michael Goldman and the essential Nikos Aliagas. During this evening during which the artists Jean-Louis Aubert, Joseph Kamel, Grand Corps Malade and Rag’n’Bone Man performed on stage, viewers were moved on social networks to see a brutal cut in the middle of the show. Shortly before 11 p.m. in fact, Nikos Aliagas wanted to introduce Thomas, one of the three nominees this week, so that he could read a letter to viewers to convince them to vote for him.

“This is the challenge for our nominees this evening: Maylis and Paul earlier engaged in a high-level battle to convince you to continue the adventure since it is you at home who are voting for them“, launched the presenter of Star Academywhile we saw Thomas standing, ready to launch himself on stage. Problem, just after, a small cut was clearly visible with a sudden change of plan and, above all, a Thomas who was seated again and who stood up again. But, then, what happened on Saturday evening? As was observed Tele-Leisure present on site, Nikos Aliagas actually missed his launch. Convinced that a tape recorder was planned before the young man’s appearance, the host announced it before production told him over the headset that nothing was planned. He therefore had to redo his launch immediately. Which explains this brutal cut on the air, especially since last Saturday’s prime was filmed with only a 20-minute delay compared to the broadcast on TF1. A delay which was then reduced to less than five minutes at the end of the evening when the results of the votes resulted in the departure of Maylis.

A little earlier in the evening, viewers were also intrigued by a sequence: just after the painting Fireworks provided by Franck and Marguerite, for once, it was not Nikos Aliagas who spoke, but Marlène Schaff the stage expression teacher, followed by the director Michael Goldman. Behind their screen, French people wondered if Nikos Aliagas had had a problem which had made him unavailable for a few minutes. However, this is not the case. Asked by Tele-Leisurethe artistic producer of Star AcademyMathieu Vergne, justifies this choice in these terms: “It is a desire on our part, this is not at all a mistake or a cutfrom time to time we want the debriefs to be done spontaneously without going through Nikos to stay in the emotion of the song and to keep the rhythm. And we already did it last year at the end of the season and we’re going to do it again“. Now the viewers have been warned!
