The 17-year-old from Brussels finished 5th in the short program (62.85) and gained a place in the rankings on Saturday thanks to her 2nd place in the free program.

Skating to the music of the series “The Scarlet Maid” and “A Dream” by Eric Christian, she collected 130.76 points. She failed narrowly behind the Japanese Wakaba Higuchi (130.81). The latter, who was only 4th after the short, won the final ranking with 196.93 points ahead of her compatriot Rinka Watanabe (195.22) who finished 3rd in both the short and the free.

Third place on the podium went to American Isabeau Levito. Leader when she took the ice on Saturday, she had to settle for 5th place in the freestyle. She finished the competition with 194.83 points.

Pinzarrone, bronze medalist at Euro 2024, obtained 193.61 points. She has a personal best of 202.29 points obtained during Euro 2024.

The Brussels native, who was the only Belgian present at Skate America, will participate in two weeks in the French Grand Prix in , the third round of the ISU Grand Prix after the Canadian International Skating Championships next weekend in Halifax.
