With its Lumix FZ300, Panasonic will not disappoint those expecting a versatile, bright bridge with a good zoom range. It goes fast, it’s very handy, it films in 4K, it resists rain and dust and, in some aspects, can even pass for an expert camera. If bulk is not a problem, this is a very good candidate for the title of universal camera.

More versatile, better built, more practical, faster, even more talented in video, the Lumix FZ2000 is head and shoulders above its predecessor. However, even if this excellent body fully deserves its 5 stars, you will have to prefer the Sony RX10 III if your main use is photography, the Lumix FZ2000 being clearly oriented towards video, an area where it excels despite some limitations, such as the crop 1, 5x in 4K.
