Pro-Iranian Hezbollah announced on Saturday that it had targeted a military base east of the city of Haifa in northern Israel, in response to “the massacres” committed by the Israeli army in Lebanon where two people were killed in an Israeli strike. This is the first time since the start of the war between Israel and Hezbollah that Tasahal has targeted the highway linking Beirut to the north of the country, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
